WE ARE
WarriorsGate Entertainment

A Deaf-Led Global Media
& Entertainment Company.

We develop, produce, distribute, and support film, television, sports, streaming, technology, and creative ventures.

We Didn't Wait for an Invitation.
We Built the Gate.

Founded by Rydrea Walker in 2012 as a filmmaking vision, WarriorsGate Entertainment grew from a Deaf-led production company into a broader entertainment company — now building an ecosystem across content, distribution, technology, sports, and production. We aren't asking Hollywood to make room for us. We're building our own infrastructure.

Changing Who Gets to Tell the Story.

Deaf Filmmakers

Creating real pathways for Deaf directors, writers, and crew to work at the highest level of the industry — not as exceptions, but as the standard.

Deaf & BIPOC Talent

Casting, crediting, and building careers for Deaf and BIPOC performers across every WGE production and platform.

Accessible Production

Every WGE production is built with Deaf audiences as a primary consideration — not an afterthought. Open captioning, ASL-forward storytelling, and inclusive crews.

Building Ownership

We aren't just making content. We're building the infrastructure — studios, platforms, databases, and festivals — that Deaf creators can own and lead.

Where We've Been.
Where We're Going.

2012

The Beginning

Rydrea Walker, 17 years old and a student at the Alabama School for the Deaf, founds Walker ASL Pictures — a filmmaking vision born from refusal to wait for Hollywood's permission.

2013–2016

First Films

Battle of Evil, Sleeper Chair, and Never Forget establish WGE's voice — Deaf-led cinema proving it can compete at every level of the industry.

2017

WarriorsGate Entertainment

The company evolves and rebrands — from a production company into an entertainment brand with a broader vision for what Deaf-led media can become.

2025

Expansion

Technology, SignedCredits, and new ventures enter the ecosystem. WGE becomes a multi-brand company building across content, distribution, and technology.

2026

WGEPlus.tv

WGE moves deeper into streaming and distribution. Erased launches. ISD Hoosiers enters production. The platform grows.

The Studio

Los Angeles headquarters. Atlanta production infrastructure. Global expansion. The infrastructure for what's next — built by and for Deaf creators.

The People Behind WarriorsGate.

Rydrea Walker, Founder & CEO of WarriorsGate Entertainment
"Rydrea Walker founded WarriorsGate Entertainment with a clear mission: to put Deaf storytellers at the center of Hollywood, not on its margins. As Executive Chairman and CEO, Rydrea sets the creative and strategic direction for every division of the company — from WGE Studios to WGEPlus.tv to WGE Sports. Rydrea's work is grounded in a simple belief: sign language is cinematic, Deaf stories deserve the big screen, and access should never be an afterthought."
