A Deaf-led Hollywood media company creating films, television, sports, and streaming experiences — built by Rydrea Walker from a school dorm room to the gates of Hollywood.
In 2012, at just 17 years old, Rydrea Walker founded Walker ASL Pictures while a student at the Alabama School for the Deaf. Faced with the barriers that keep Deaf creators out of Hollywood, Rydrea transformed the company — rebranding in 2017 as WarriorsGate Entertainment. Now a Delaware C Corporation headquartered in Hollywood, WGE is the company built because the industry wouldn't open its doors. We develop, produce, and distribute original content across film, television, sports, and streaming — while building the brands, technologies, and infrastructure that power the next generation of inclusive entertainment.
To amplify Deaf creators and authentic stories, building a sustainable entertainment ecosystem that reaches global audiences.
A world where Deaf talent leads at every level of the entertainment industry — from the screen to the boardroom.
"We didn't wait for an invitation.
We built the gate." — Rydrea Walker, CEO
