At WarriorsGate Entertainment, we have always believed that Deaf storytellers deserve more than a seat at the table — they deserve a stage built for them.

Today, we are proud to announce the WarriorsGate Film Festival — a bold new celebration of Deaf storytelling, creative expression, and film. Where creators connect and stories move forward.

Film festivals have long been the heartbeat of the independent film world. They are where careers are launched, voices are amplified, and culture shifts. But for too long, Deaf filmmakers, Deaf-led productions, and Deaf-centric narratives have been underrepresented in those spaces. WarriorsGate Film Festival is our answer to that gap.

This festival is an extension of everything WarriorsGate Entertainment was built to do — deliver Deaf-led culture to the world and create ecosystems where Deaf creativity thrives. From the films we produce at WGE Studios to the content on WGEPlus.tv, everything we do centers the Deaf experience. The WarriorsGate Film Festival is the next chapter in that mission.

We are in the early stages of development and have big things planned. The inaugural WarriorsGate Film Festival is slated for Fall 2027 — giving us the time to build this the right way, from the ground up, with the Deaf community at the center of every decision.
